Satan's Little Helper

It's intentionally bad and is best viewed when completely inebriated. So grab your favorite holiday hootch and enjoy. Oh, and here's my somewhat complicated Christmas cocktail I that I have created just for you to enjoy it with. Don't be so lazy, just try it ...


Dean's Christmas Cocktail (for two)

1/4 tsp ground Cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground Cloves
1/4 tsp ground Nutmeg
1 tsp brown or raw Sugar

1 oz Red wine (or 1/2 oz Brandy)
2 oz Bombay Sapphire Gin (or vodka if you must)
1 oz Cranberry Juice
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 oz boiling water

Orange slices for garnish


1) Stir in only enough boiling water to the dry ingredients to dissolve them.

2) Add mixture to a large cocktail shaker full of large ice cubes. Add liquids.

3) Shake like crazy. Let the shaker stand about 20 seconds (it will become colder).

4) Pour. Ice particles should form on top. Garnish with orange slices. Consume.

5) Repeat.

My new front yard

So here's the view from the deck of my new home. Sweet! Can't complain! I spent last night sleeping with Bretta by the fire. A real fire not one of those Canadian Tire spinning light show jobs. Oh, and Bretta is a chocolate lab. I'm now a roomie with my good pals Olaf and Michelle on Panorama Drive (VRXers giggle now) which is only accessible by boat. So come on by if you have your own boat and we'll drive golf balls at the pesky kayakers. Ciao for now.
