The Wreck

I was photographing a cruise-ship in Ft.Lauderdale, the Carnival Splendor. It was the same ship that I went on last summer from Dover to Russia! I looked around the ship but all my girls were gone. Poor Deano.

Anyways, after the shoot we went to the bar in our hotel. I was staying at the Sheraton Yankee Clipper and the Wreck Bar is where they shot a scene from Analyze This with Billy Chrystal and Robert Deniro at the bar. Behind the bar is a glass window that shows the pool. On Fridays they have a mermaid show featuring Medusirena and her charms. Missed it by one night. Ug!

We also went to another infamous watering hole in Ft.Lauderdale, the Elbo Room. Damn fine lime margaritas. It's the kind of place where if you spilled a drink on the floor nobody would even notice. Actually, it's the kind of place that if you threw up on the floor, nobody would really notice.

I'm in Lafayette, Louisiana right now shooting a Hilton. On my first day I had some sausage gumbo, crawfish etouffee, and an Arbita amber beer. Yum. Across the street is a drive-thru Daiquiri place. You can have booze in your car in Louisiana as long as it is not open. As soon as you put the straw in the drink, it's open.

I've actually been working too much to actually go there. This working for a living thing gets in the way sometimes.

These photos were taken with a pin-hole camera. It's a 35mm film camera made out of cardboard that has no lens (only a pin-hole) and no viewfinder.

1 oz Brandy (Remy Martin)
1 oz Alize Red Passion Liquour
1 oz Black Cherry Cranberry Cocktail

Fill a highball glass with large ice cubes. Add ingredients.

Stir with a bloody finger (optional).

Garnish with a Blackberry.
